Our Story
Broken Prop Art™ was started by disabled veterans with PTSD to help heal their broken minds though art. It is our hope that this will keep the mind on something other than faraway places.
The Process of Broken Prop Art™
The process of making a finished piece of Broken Prop Art™ involves many steps. Preparing the props requires sandblasting, chemical treatments and cleaning to remove all contaminants. Once cleaning is completed, a special base paint is applied and allowed to dry. A background color is selected and painted onto the prop. The artist can now begin the process of creating the finished design for the piece of Broken Prop Art™.
